The Lodge is a large and comfortable 7 bedroom country house complete with log fire, Aga and some wonderfully large and comfortable beds. Set in the countryside outside Norwich it is ideal for a getaway weekend from the London area, or for a grand family gathering. Sleeping 14, the Lodge has a large library of reference and other books, two huge TVs, plus a sumptuous lounge. But there is plenty of room to get away from the TV, not to mention the 3 1/2 acre site with pathways through the trees, large lawns ideal for a spot of golf practice, or for spotting the local wildlife in the shape of pheasants or muntjac deer. Cooks may use the Aga or the separate electric oven and hob; or over the road is a welcoming local pub with excellent food. It is a 15 minute drive to Norwich centre where the market and pedestrianised walkways provide everything a city may offer. A lovely warm, tranquil and quality destination.
