A group of us spent 10 nights in The Laguna for my daughter's wedding which was being held there. The hotel exceeded all our expectations and was amazing. We stayed in a lagoon access room which meant our balcony had steps into a lagoon which was fantastic for having a swim whenever we felt like it, and also a gorgeous view to see when sitting on the balcony. The staff in the hotel are wonderful, there is a 24 hour butler service for tea, coffee, iced water or whatever else you needed. There is a deli/cafe where you can get a variety of meals at reasonable prices. There are two restaurants, one which is practically on the beach. The grounds of the hotel are amazing with gardens, lagoons and waterfalls all around the buildings. The hotel is on the beach with its own private beach area. There is the Bali Collection just 10 minutes walk along the beach, with lots of shops, restaurants and spa salons for traditional Balinese massages. The wedding was wonderful, in a magical setting, and we were all really sorry to leave at the end of our stay. If anyone is thinking of a trip to Bali I would definitely recommend The Laguna. It will definitely be my first choice should I ever get to return to this magical island.
