This is a great base for walking. Otterton is a very pretty quiet village. The kings arms is a very cosy pub/hotel. Very good service. Cosy rooms and log burners in lounges with sofas around. many beautiful easy walks from pub so drive here and then forget your car!! Easy walks along the river Otter in both directions. Two of my favourite walks are from Otterton to Budleigh Salterton and back, taking in the coastal path and from Otterton to East Budleigh (home of Sir Walter Raleigh) and back. Also, opposite Inn is the Otterton Mill, a proper working mill with shop and restaurant. A very relaxing stay.
