We spent a very pleasant weekend recently in Rutland, staying at the King’s Arms Inn. The comfortable accommodation was dog friendly with a dog bed supplied along with welcome dog biscuits. Dogs are also allowed at pre-booked tables in the bar/restaurant with their own doggy menu. Meals are hearty with all ingredients locally sourced shown in a map on the wall. Information is provided on all the ingredients and the restaurant has its own smokehouse. We enjoyed several walks around Rutland Water.
