Visited at lunchtime for a meal and catch up with friends. The Inn is primarily a pub (more familiar to many as the New Inn) and part of the Vintage restaurant chain. The menu isn’t extensive but there is plenty of choice with varied main courses, pizzas and the option of lighter bites including sandwiches. We opted for the chicken and mushroom pie which was delicious – plenty of filling topped with puff pastry. The accompanying vegetables were nicely cooked as was the spring onion mash. The restaurant was very quiet but the service was good. The place looked very clean and there were clear guidelines displayed re: social distancing. Overall we were impressed with the quality of the food which was excellent value for money.
