If you are looking for a luxury stay in Edinburgh, then I would highly recommend the 5* Howard Hotel. It is located just 15 minutes walk from the Waverley Station (or a £5 taxi ride), in a delightful & quiet Georgian Terrace.

There are just 18 bedrooms, which are spacious & stylishly furnished, with fabulous marble en-suite bathrooms. The hotel offers an amazingly unique complimentary butler service to look after your every need – from 24-hour refreshment trays to a bath preparation service (running the bath, adding candles to the room & pouring the champagne)!

There is an intimate restaurant, which serves lunch & dinner every day & a comfortable resident's lounge. The breakfast menu offers a very wide range of dishes, from the full Scottish breakfast to a selection of fish, egg & meat dishes. We both tried a variety of dishes & enjoyed each of them equally.

All of the hotel team were so friendly & did everything possible to ensure that we had a super stay. We loved every minute & will definitely stay there again.
