As you drive up to the resort building, you will see the tennis court and the championship mini golf course. Our group had two rooms each with king-size beds and one room with two queen-size beds that we booked through www.booking.com at 50% off the regular $120.00 price per room. At check-in each room received coupons for 15% off dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Aside from all the things to see and do in and around Collingwood, there is a lot to keep you busy at this lovely resort. In addition to golf and tennis there is an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool and we used both of them. The restaurant at the resort is excellent and not overpriced as we often find at hotel restaurants. The service was efficient and friendly and the food was very tasty. The roasted vegetable stack with goat cheese and balsamic vinegar reduction was delicious and very reasonable at $15. Breakfast for three people was only $25 which is what you would usually pay for one person in a hotel in Toronto. The only drawbacks were that the rooms did not contain safes and it would have been nice for the pool to open before 9:00 a.m. and for the golf to open before 11:00 a.m. Another drawback for some would be the lack of an elevator so if this is an issue, request a room on the ground floor.
