Had a lovely lunch at this pleasant country pub. Plenty of seating but quite busy for a Thursday lunch and I should imagine at weekends it gets very busy so advisable to book. Plenty to occupy the children with a busy duckpond and other activities on offer. At 50 pence for a small shot they were expensive ducks as many 50 pences were purloined! Food was good – pub grub and plenty of it. The children’s menu was also good and again portions were plentiful. A good British pub and a thoroughly enjoyable lunch!
