We recently spent a lovely weekend at The Dial House in Bourton on the Water. The hotel itself is quite small and intimate, the staff friendly and the decor warm, inviting and a little quirky.
The rooms have been recently refurbished to a high standard. Ours was situated at the very top of the hotel in what would have been the attic. The room was quite spacious with a lovely view, although you did have to stand up to see it from the window!
The bathroom was stylish and modern with plenty of really hot water and nice quality products.
One of the best things about our stay was the delicious food on offer. It far exceeded expectations, although if you decided to eat a la carte it was pricey. The set menu however was very good value at 3 courses for £20.
All in all it was a very pleasant experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to return.
