Second visit and this time in a normal 'deluxe' twin room on the lower ground floor. Spacious (though not as much as my previous ‘deluxe suite’ and clean, the bathroom, as in the suite, had an over-bath shower. Same furnishings as in the suite.

Breakfast this visit included fresh and dried fruit (was tinned and dried on the previous visit).

Security on bedroom door – door lock, chain and peep-hole. Good strong WiFi signal in this room.

As before, a courtesy 1L bottle of water was provided in the room, replenished daily if used, along with tea/coffee making facilities – and bathrobe and slippers (forgot to mention them on the previous review!).

As mentioned before, the outlook from the bedrooms can be quite different. In addition to those overlooking the sea (the best!) and the main road (noisy at night/in the morning, though n so bad now that the local road works are complete) – my room this time on the ‘first floor’ (i.e. the one below the reception/street level) looked out onto a small terrace, and the upper windows of the swimming pool. The swimming pool itself is large for a hotel; and there’s a fitness room, and a ‘business centre’ and meeting rooms for those needing such facilities.

This visit was in early May and the neighboring road/building works are coming along nicely – can now walk along the boulevard extension.
