When we lived near here this hotel was of a high standard but it seems to be hanging in by providing the most basic service. The room was in the old part and desperately needed updating. The staff overall were helpful . Breakfast was the most disappointing as there was a very meagre amount for the cooked breakfast and we were not to touch any of the continental option, which was also sparse.
