Relaxation

We had an excellent mini break in the run up to Christmas. Our room was quite small but the bed was comfortable and we were provided with white robes to walk the short distance along a back corridor to the lovely swimming pool. As soon as we had settled in to our room we went for a swim then showered in the small but very comfortable changing rooms and then dried with the fluffy towels provided, had a refreshing cup of tea in the small spa diner before going back to our room.

Saturday’s evening meal was excellent, quality tasty food well cooked and presented. There was a lovely party feel as several office Christmas parties were happening.

Sundays breakfast was delicious. I had the freshly prepared smoked haddock whilst my husband had items from the cooked breakfast bar.

The Sunday carvery was amazing. There were four different roasts and every vegetable imaginable followed by a choice of delicious desserts.

Sunday evening we just had a bar snack from a good menu. Also we found the two computer internet cafe, with free access we sent a few emails.

After another swim and then an excellent breakfast we headed for home after a relaxing weekend. There were treatments available but we were happy with our swims.

The service we got was excellent and the food was some of the best we’ve tasted for a while.
