Music

Travelling 300 miles to the hotel paled into insignificance when the musicians had travelled by car from Prague.

The distance was justified by the food and general accommodation which was excellent though some of the bedrooms were rather small with unexplained frosted glass in the bottom half of the win dow. This was strange given the fact that the wioindow looked out at trees and we were on the second floor. Clearly low flying aircraft look in.

Service was excellent being both polite and unobtrusively attentive. There was a good variety of food, all beautifully cooked and presented, and several sitting areas all with free wifi. If the weather had been warmer we could have made good use of the enclosed garden which is an attractive feature.

The Hotel is based on the A40 giving access to a wide variety of plazces to vikst inc, luding Windsor and Hughenden Manor while the shops in Gerrard's Cross are within walking distance across the 'village' green.

The hotel prooved to be an excellent venue for the Music which featured the Petroff Piano Trio who gave two extremely well played concerts. This was a first for Music at Leisure at The bull so we hope to return there again next year.
