We recently had an overnight stay in Eastbourne at The Big Sleep Hotel. It is situated on the front, ideally placed. Unfortunately, it has not got a car park, road side spaces were difficult to find. The hotel issued us with an overnight permit for £1, can't grumble at that. The hotel has lots of stairs and an antiquated lift. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The breakfast was adequate, had to pay extra for cooked food. We were very lucky with the weather and managed a lovely walk along the front and onto the pier. The flowers looked spectacular. The bandstand area looks amazing, must try and go back sometime for a concert.
