Reasons for trip

It is central to the shopping and tourist area of Canterbury and also hosts the information centre. Free to enter.

Had no children tagging along but there seemed to be plenty for them to do.

Manageable size with a real mix of different types of art (my favourite was a Hockney drawing of Celia without Percy). Lots of ethnographic exhibits as well as ceramics and metalwork as well as doll’s house stuff.
