Its been a while since I attended an agricultural show however, seeing as we were in Scotland with family who are also sheep farmers, we took the opportunity to attend the Annual Perth show, just outside the city centre. The showground was central and there was ample car parking nearby at £5 per day. As it is an agricultural show it is livestock focused however, there is something for everyone on the showground. It provides a great opportunity for people to see the animals we take so much for granted, close up. The highlights for me included the Bulls, they are absolutely huge animals close up. There is ample eating and drinking on site with a variety of different foods provided, the prices were reasonable too, craft tents, Locally sourced deli type foods and drink and childrens entertainment in the form of rides, pipe bands and lots of different stands. I came away with jewellery and foodstuffs, all in all, a nice change for us. The relatives did rather well too with a decent haul of rosettes.
