Reasons for trip

The name is easy to remember and so is the food. My sister, brother-in-law and I went to this little restaurant for the first time last week and we will definitely be back. It is a small house on Gainsborough Road near Hyde Park Road in London and does not have many tables. Most people seem to pick up their food for takeout. We chose to eat in and had a delightful meal.

I ordered the spring rolls as a starter. They usually serve four on the plate but only had two so they asked if it would be alright to add five crispy wontons to the plate instead. Okay. It was more than enough so my brother-in-law helped me out. My sister and her husband both had the mango salad. It looked fresh and inviting and I will be trying it out next time. My main was the pork fried rice and was so plentiful the leftovers provided me with two more meals at home. Even on the third day it was still moist and tasty with huge chunks of pork. My sister had the chicken satay and her husband had a beef stir fry.

I have friends visiting in a couple of weeks and we’re going out for lunch. I’ve been scoping out the menu and I already know what I’m going to have…

There is parking on the road in front of the restaurant or you can park in the lot at the back.
