The Tempest Arms provides excellent food from a comprehensive but not too large menu. It includes a specials menu, and a range of sandwiches which are quite substantial. The staff are friendly and helpful, taking drinks to your table from the bar! Including great coffe. In winter there are real fires. Dogs are allowed in the bar area, but not on seats. It is a popular restaurant, so sometimes get very busy but we did not have to wait too long for our order.
