Reasons for trip

Arrived this evening from Istanbul (good connecting flight from Edinburgh airport (flights also from Manchester/Birmingham and Gatwick, using Turkish Airlines?)

First visit to Tbilisi and got off the ‘plane, up to passport control … lots of manned-desks so no wait … the guy did check every page of the passport – then stamped it and I was through … I was cabin baggage only so can’t comment on how long the wait for hold baggage might have been … through the door and the company driver was waiting – car park right outside of arrivals .. and a 20 minute run into the hotel in the old town.

Only here for one day to get a visa to Azerbaijan but already think I might be back for a proper visit!
