We visited the village of Tarporley during a day out to the Cheshire countryside. This attractive place has a timeless quality about it.
Our main purpose for visiting was to stop for afternoon tea. We chose the Ginger and Pickles cafe on the High Street. I had a plateful of brie and cranberry sandwiches which were delicious.
We decided to take a stroll around the village with its charming old buildings. You can see why Tarporley regularly wins the Best Kept Village Award. Well worth a visit if you are travelling in the area.
