For those travelling to Pembrokeshire I would like to recommend that they try a trip to the Preseli Hills. The Preseli Hills or, as they are known locally the Preseli Mountains lay largely within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The hills are the home of small wild ponies and is the location where the blue stones of Stone Henge originated. After a lovely walk through these lovely hills what is better than a long cool drink in a friendly inn. The quirky Tavern Zinc is the ideal place to end the day. This community owned pub was the last stop on the Great Western railway for which it was built to serve. Don’t expect fancy fare at the Zinc just a great Welsh welcome and excellent service. The pub offers a range of locally brewed ales as well as the usual mass-produced beers.
