Celebrated reaching 70 in January and was taken by my family to this beautiful restauramt as a surprise by my son and family. What a fantastic find!! Such an extensive menu and specials available. Staff were pleasant, nothing top much trouble. I started off with garlic mushrooms with herbs and garlic bread, scrumptious!! My partner had cockles, laverbread and toast, which is a welsh dish, Delicious!!! For the main I had cod in a beautiful leek, cheese and cream sauce with seasoned vegetables. Every mouthful was absolutely delightful. My partner had Duck in Noodles with peppers, mushrooms etc, and was commenting almost every mouthful, how tasty ot was. Think it used to be a coachhouse many years ago. Its a very popular place and booking is essential. They also do a fantastic carvery on Sunday too. The prices are very competitive too. When you taste your food you wom,t be able to believe such good quality comes at the price it does. Desserts Im afraid did not get to visit table this time, but will make a point of trying their delicious desserts next time, oh there will definitely be a nextime soon.
