We stumbled across this by chance and it was a real find. Free entry, next to the New Orleans Museum of Art. Well laid out paths all round, lots of seating, lots of shade. Sculptures on the whole interesting and well displayed. We didn’t do the museum but in connection with that would make a good half day’s activity. Sculpture park took about 90 minutes to stroll round with plenty of stops. We caught the tram there and then walked through the park – it is quite a walk and although there are some seats, there aren’t many and certainly not many in the shade.
The museum has a nice little cafe (they give you a little badge for free entry if you’re not doing the museum itself) where we managed to find a welcome and reasonable cup of tea.
