A beautiful 4* hotel situated in fabulous grounds. The room was spacious with good strong wifi. The buffet breakfast is excellent with traditional fry-up as well as cereals, toast, pastries, fruit, fruit juice, teas and coffees and a selection of jams and spreads. Dinner is equally as good with three course fine dining available with a selection of different meals each day. There is also a bar for informal dining with burgers etc.
The spa is great, I had a lovely relaxing massage and then spent the day relaxing by the pool. The pool itself is large and there is a small pool outside with water jets which is lovely. There are foot baths and a sauna but these weren’t all fully operational when I was there.
There is a golf course at the hotel too so you can enjoy a round of golf if you wish, or just look around the grounds.
The hotel is situated about 5 minutes drive to Stratford-Upon Avon town where there is a lot to see. This is Shakespeares birthplace so there is a lot of cultural sites to visit as well as parks, shops, cafes and restaurants. A great location for town.
