Reasons for trip

The Dalston yard street feast is a showcase for the best in street food from around London and further afield running for 22 weeks.

What ever your taste in food is, it will be catered for, from Caribbean to Korean, American and Japanese.

Situated just off Dalston junction, entry is free before 7pm, £3 thereafter. This is a buzzing collection of different food stalls and bars which changes regularly, serving food from around the globe.

The yard itself is level and suitable for wheelchair users, toilets are on site as is security, dotted around are wood burning braziers at the moment as the evenings can still be quite cool.

It is well worth a visit just to see the industrial settings and different stalls selling anything and everything.

It gets busy later on and seating is at a premium so bear this in mind if you visit. All in all, a great place to spend a few hours eating and drinking. We went at the end of May and had a great time hammering the stalls and cocktails.
