Strawberry Hill Cottage is a fantastic holiday home – great location (1 minute from Little Haven beach) and excellent facilities in the cottage. It has a tardis-like feel to it – it looks tiny from the front, but has a well-designed extension full of light, so it seems far bigger than it looks on the website.

The cottage is very well-equipped and no corners have been cut in terms of what is provided. The Fair Trade welcome basket was full of goodies, and there was a pint of milk in the fridge. The garden is very private and has a sun trap of a patio (and some very tame blackbirds!). I stayed in the cottage on my own, and felt secure due to the chain on the front door, plus an inner door, plus the fact the garden is not overlooked.

We had to change our booking once due to unexpected circumstances, and the owner was extremely helpful.

Little Haven is a lovely village and has various good eating places, plus a little gallery, RNLI shop and a pottery. There are super coastal walks and a regular cheap bus service to get you to other bits of the coast and/or Haverfordwest (the nearest big town).

The only word of warning is that there are some stairs down from the front door to the kitchen and lounge area, so it would be problematic for wheelchair users. Apart from that, I cannot recommend Strawberry Hill Cottage highly enough.
