We stayed at the Shakespeare Hotel for on night at the beginning of December.
We found the Hotel quite easy, the Hotel had it’s own Parking for a small amount of vehicles so it was first come first served and not many Disabled places, The hotel charges £10 a day to Hotel residents and £20 for none Residents.
The Hotel was very clean and the Staff very helpful and vey pleasant, the room was large and clean and comfortable. The Breakfast was lovely and as much as you like to eat.
The Shakespeare was located in town and if you are visiting the Theatre it is in walking distant.
The town had all its Christmas Lights on and a lovely park by the River Avon there was Boat Trips but there was only a few running due to the time of year, The town was very busy and there are plenty of shops if you love to shop and some lovely places to eat but it is very advisable to pre book evening Meals especially at Weekends.
The town is very accessible and can be easy for people using wheelchairs or scooters, and there was many places of interest and history to visit. So can get busy.
We Visited the Stratford Butterfly Farm which is a lovely place and not just for a lovely place to spend a couple of hours. A great place for a weekend away.
