Reasons for trip

Today for our wedding anniversary my husband and I took a day trip to see friends in Wiltshire. The journey was lovely in the sunshine (apart from a bit of slow going on the M3) – there were gorse and/or primroses out on the roadsides most of the way. We passed Stonehenge (always lovely to see – such a powerful sight) although we didn’t stop to go around it. We were so lucky with the weather, made us realise how beautiful England is. Of course we had a nice meal with our friends (at their home) as well. It proves you can see lovely things at home, and it is well worth taking a break in this country.
