St John’s Methodist Church Hall in the centre of Llandudno is open every Friday morning for coffee and cakes. I had noticed the ‘”Church”:https://www.silvertraveladvisor.com/review/attraction/201004 open’ sign as I walked down Mostyn Street on a cold and wet Friday in October. I was warmly welcomed and told about the history of the church and then invited into the church hall for coffee and a cake.
The volunteers were delighted to see me and I settled down with a very good home made scone and a drink. There was a choice of homemade cakes all at £1 and tea and coffee were a similar price. The toasted tea cakes at £1.50 smelt delicious.
There are a lot of cafes to choose from in Llandudno, but this must rank as the best value! It also has toilets, a consideration as the public toilets charge 30p!
