Reasons for trip

Having lived in Swansea since 1970 after leaving Bath, I am always amazed at how much history and wonderful places are often hidden here in Wales. St Davids is not hidden, but when you reach it, it’s such an overwhelming spectacular vision it will catch your breath!! St David is the patron saint of Wales, and this quaint little place is on the map. It’s one of these little gems of places, people may or may not have heard about, but when visiting West Wales it’s a must. It’s situated about 1hr 45 minutes from Swansea. Although out in the beautiful countryside a most definite place to visit. The history, and magnificent buildings will leave a special place in your mind. Well kept, so peaceful, even in the height of the season. Quaint little eateries and few galleries to browse in and out off too. The architecture alone, is breathtaking!!. Also there are beautiful unspoilt beaches surrounding it too. Even if you never get a chance to go, look it up on internet and you will almost feel like you have been there by the time you have finished reading up on it!!
