This pink painted hotel is on the South Coast in St.Lawrence Gap. Ideally situated on the white sandy beach which has shade from palm trees blowing in the cool Trade Winds. This beach is also an active nesting ground for the endangered Hawksbill Turtle which are also in the ornamental pool with the fish in the grounds. Opposite the hotel are some little boutique shops and a choice of eateries. The hotel has an air of gentility and a slightly tired feeling about it. There are 2 small swimming pools, shuttle board, mini golf, tennis courts, free water sports which include windsurfing and weekly scuba instruction (whilst there is no lifeguard the red flags are out on the beach when necessary) beauty salon, souvenir shop and beach volleyball. I would not advise people with young children to go here as I never saw any facilities for them apart from the beach and sea. On Mondays there is a complimentary Managers Rum Punch Party and every afternoon there is a complimentary ‘high tea’ which only consists of tea/ coffee and a muffin … nothing to get excited about there then. There is live entertainment 3 times a week and Sunday lunch time in the large bar area which also has a dance floor. The hotel has only 3 floors but be warned there are no lifts. We had a large luxury suite on the ground floor and a large terrace which came with kitchen. The beds are very wide and very high and very comfortable. The resort is quiet and we slept undisturbed. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet is bountiful with a hot and cold choice, egg dishes are cooked fresh.
