Relaxation

After our first experience of cruising we needed a week to relax and recover! This was our third visit to Barbados but our first to Southern Palms. We were certainly NOT disappointed! From the initial friendly greeting by Alison we were extremely well treated by all the staff. We were on a bed and breakfast package and the breakfasts sustained us for most of the day! The beach is one of the best I have seen on the island and, apart from the weekend, it was surprisingly quiet. The entertainment was good, attracting a lot of locals – a good sign – and we found a number of good places to eat in the evenings. I would suggest finding a few of the eateries away from the hotel. All in all, a great place to stay.
