You’d be forgiven for thinking these photos were taken in Corfu or Croatia, but no, this is summer in Devon, on the South West Coast Path, about twenty minutes walk out of Torquay, on the way to the gorgeous little beach at Meadfoot. You walk out of the town behind Living Coasts, go past the Imperial Hotel and follow signs for Daddyhole Plain and you come across the path. It’s not always obvious which way to go and we did pass people asking if they were on the right path, but keep going and after about 25 minutes of climbing up and scrambling back down, you arrive at Meadfoot beach. The retro beach huts are fab! Luckily there is a café there too where we had a cuppa before setting off back to Torquay
