I did a wonderful trip with Jenman tour company. It was great that we were only four guests and our lovely tour guide, Dexter. Jenman has certain dates that they guarantee departure so even if only two of you booked, the trip would go ahead. We travelled in a VW van from Johannesburg to Natal, Swaziland, Lesotho, along the Garden Route to Cape Town. Each day was a new adventure as we visited gamey parks, nature sites, beaches and wineries. We had some terrific game viewing. We stayed in lovely luxury accommodation which varied from a “beehive rondavel” in Swaziland, a luxury furnished townhouse in the Karoo, a flat-like accommodation which had a wonderful outdoor shower and we dined that evening under the stars. We even talked a fellow into letting us visit the museum of a famous author when he was in the process of locking up. He opened up to allow us entry into the museum. Some times we did things as a group and other times people chose to do their own thing. Depending on one’s fitness you could choose to do a nature walk. I even went zip lining in the Tsitsikama Forest. I did the trip on my own and the single supplement was reasonable. I did the trip December 2016-January 2017. The accommodation was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Some evenings we’d sit around a camp fire. Some evenings the staff at the accommodation would sing. It deserves the 5 star rating. A really wonderful trip. I didn’t include photos but I had a lovely book done up as a souvenir of this trip.
