An overnight stay at an airport hotel can help you take a leisurely approach to getting away on your flight next day. It can help you avoid the possibility of getting to the airport late due to road traffic delays particularly on the M23 and M25, and save you getting up at a very early hour!

There are quite a few hotels in the vicinity of Gatwick, but if you are looking for something special and luxurious to 'kick off' your holiday then you may wish to consider this one.

I stayed at the Sofitel at Gatwick airport prior to a European flight the following day. This is a luxury hotel directly linked to Gatwick North terminal. Just a short stroll from the hotel under cover and you are in the North Terminal. It is also just a few minutes from the South Terminal by Monorail.

This luxury hotel is very well appointed, with comfortabler rooms and bed and offers an excellent standard of service.
