These are within a few minutes drive of L’Anse aux Meadows at the tip of the Northern Peninsula in Newfoundland.

There are 2 buildings with 4 units in each. We were in the end unit and there could be a certain amount of noise through the wall from next door. There is plenty of parking outside the door and a shared BBQ. There were limited views from the cabin. The living room looked out across the parking area to the road. The bedroom looked out onto trees and could be a bit dark.

You enter through the door into a big living room and kitchen area and bathroom and double bedroom off. There was lots of space with settee, rocking chair, small TV, table and dining chairs. There was a huge fridge freezer, cooker, kettle and microwave. There was a reasonable selection cooking utensils and crockery. There was a big bathroom. 4 sets bath towels provided but they were thin and not particularly large. The cabins are serviced on request and towels changed – either ask in Blakes Cash and Carry or leave the sign on door.

Internet came and went as the signal was not very strong in Cabin 1.

Check in is at Blakes Cash and carry which has some tinned goods but is mainly sweets. Clover Farm Convenience Store just along the road was much better. It had a reasonable selection of fresh fruit and vegetables and frozen meat. We asked about fish and were given some frozen cod from round the back.
