Had a superb holiday in Malta; stayed in Sliema. The accommodation was first class – stayed in the Palazzo Capua which is attached to the Victoria and Palace Hotels which had an indoor and outdoor pool. The hotel was 5 minutes away from the waterfront where you could catch a boat to Valetta. Valetta is very interesting with a lot of places to visit. We particularly enjoyed a visit to the War rooms down at the harbour which was very interesting and informative.
We used the very efficient and cheap bus service around the island to visit Rabat and also to go to the north of the island to visit Gozo, a very nice place to visit.
There were lots of nice restaurants in Sliema to visit which were very reasonable and the quality of food was good.
Overall, I would recommend Malta as an interesting, enjoyable place to visit.
