Shrigley Hall hotel is a lovely building with lovely views. The pool and spa area is very relaxing. We walked the two marked trails around the grounds, it was nice not having to drive anywhere. We ate in the bar,the food was good but we did not always get what we ordered. The staff are very nice but need a some guidance.
Our room was not cleaned well enough.
Some guests had brought their dogs.We did not appreciate being woken up in the morning by barking. It occurred to me that if dogs had stayed in the room we were in,had dirty bottoms been on the carpet or worse still on the furniture. I don’t think we will be staying at dog friendly hotels in future.
