I always enjoy a trip to Sewerby Hall and gardens, although to be fair, the hall is closed for refurbishment until August 9th, so on this occasion it was just the gardens. It’s charming here, and money is being spent on improvements all the time, the new toilet block is spotless, and there is a lovely shop selling sweets, ice creams, and hot and cold drinks. You can play bowls, for a small fee, or putting. There is also a mini golf course and football golf too. The zoo is ok, but is looking rather run down. The gardens are pretty, so all in all, this remains Bridlington’s finest asset.
