Nostalgia is not a thing of the past when you take a trip on the Severn Valley Railway! We travelled from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth with a lovely steam engine pulling us. The scenery was great even in February and there was a very friendly and happy atmosphere. We had time for a walk around Bridgnorth town before the return trip. The only negative comment would be the limited stock in the buffet – sandwiches or something more than crisps and biscuits would have been welcome otherwise a brilliant day out.
