SeaWorld is a spectacular experience and I believe it's the shows that make it the outstanding day out that it is. Whilst the other exhibits are enjoyable and I particularly enjoyed the shark experience where you are often just separated from some very sharp teeth by the thickness of the glass, the shows have the edge. The blend of fabulous stunts by the animals, the rousing music, the comedy, the acrobatics etc. are a heady blend that finds you applauding and smiling again and again. Probably a little expensive at about £50 for the day ticket. Go for the fun pass if you think you might come back in the near future, it allows repeat visits at no extra cost. Some of the attractions are past it now, e.g. the simulated helicopter ride in Wild Arctic. It's still fun but technology has moved on so far now that it's in need of a serious face lift. Other than that it's a great day out and I'll definitely come again next time I'm in San Diego.
