Reasons for trip

With an eager 8 year old in tow I visited the new Seaton Jurassic Centre. So clever. We were greeted by a ‘servant’ who explained about the house and time machine we were about to enter. My grand daughter was given a book to collect rubber stamps and answer lots of questions.

I’m not going to spoil it by telling you how we spent our time. The web link will tell you all you need to know. I just want to say that if you’re in the area and want a fun day out with an educational bias, then this is for the whole family. It can be experienced on many levels. My grand daughter learnt so much about the jurassic coast, and so did I, and she was still buzzing with new information the next day when she took her task book into school to show the class.

Very reasonably priced and, if you keep your ticket, you can revisit for free within the next 12 months.

A very good cafe there too.
