I live in Scarborough and regularly use this trail. Sometimes I walk to The Manor Road cemetery, where it a pleasant stroll through Peasholm Glen down to Peasholm. If I am feeling more energetic, I walk to Scalby, then leave the trail for refreshments at Mad Hatties, and get the bus back to town. On rare occasions I have been known to walk as far as Cloughton (about 5 miles), then leave the trail for afternoon tea at The Coast tea rooms, and, of course, I get the bus home. One of these days I might even go further up the trail. This is a lovely walk, at any time of the year.
