Recently had a 5 day break in Scarborough with perfect weather. Our hotel was good with great food and entertainment which was of a very high standard. The town is a typical seaside town with a very long sandy beach accessible for a lot of the day so is good for families. The cliff lift is well worth the 40p one way fare – otherwise there are 155 steps through the gardens. Would certainly visit again.
