This hotel was very convenient for the main railway station and the Old Town sights in one direction, and the shipyard worker's monument in the other. The staff were pleasant and the food was good and reasonably priced. A booking mix-up with my organisation meant that I had to move to another hotel, which, although the accommodation was good, did not match the friendliness of the Scandic – and charged more for the food (and 'cold' service). And free WiFi.
