Super 5* service in this converted monastery. Only 21 rooms. Located just off the magnificent Market Square. It has been modernised and converted with great taste preserving the ancient aspects but adding in all the expected modern facilities including a lift. Nothing was too much trouble; requests were attended to in minutes. 24 hour front desk service. They organised transfers and trips and simply added the fees to our hotel bill. Organised a good quality excursion to Auschwitz which was the main reason to visit Krakow, but it is a beautiful, elegant, safe city.
Buffet breakfast with everything you might expect plus freshly cooked eggs if required. There is no restaurant but there must be a hundred within a few minuted walk. A couple of nice quiet lounges and a small bar.
The hotel is directly on a narrow street with trams so rooms at the front can be noisy early in the morning.
Certainly to be recommended.
