I have seen the Sahara Beach many times whilst visiting Tunisia and also read many reports on this hotel complex. But I myself and friends decided for the price we would give it a try (after always saying it was too big and we would not stay there). Very very impressed with the staff, hotel, rooms.
The hotel was not full in March and there were not a lot of children. The hotel and the rooms and all the swimming pool areas were very clean and well maintained. The food was of 3 star standard, there was a very varied choice of dishes both for lunch and dinner. The drinks were of a better quality than some all inclusives we have stayed in especially the rose wine.
Tunisia hotels are what they are and Tunisia is I'm afraid very poor and losing touch with the rest of the travel industry … but for the price we would go back next March for some winter sun.
It was the complete opposite of how we thought it might be. Very impressed.
