Reasons for trip

We flew Ryanair to Gran Canaria in January and were pleasantly surprised. Cabin staff were very attentive. I have a colostomy bag and needed to empty it before takeoff and they were very accommodating.

Top tip: when I had to lean over the man in the aisle seat to explain my predicament to the the cabin staff he had disappeared to another free seat by the time I returned from the toilet – so we had the whole row to ourselves – great!!! – try it!!!

We were a bit delayed on the return leg but no big deal.

Haven’t used Stanstead for many years and was pleased how much more peaceful it was than the chaos that is Gatwick.

Will certainly go Stansted / Ryanair again.
