I visited these delightful gardens with my son. They are not too large and they are nicely laid out with trees, paths and flower borders. There is a bandstand. Just to one side is a lovely little museum with many unusual features. It is also just a short distance from the sea, also the high street and shops. There is a bus stop outside, offering a range of services to different locations and other resorts. Nearby is a tunnel leading to a secluded beach. Ilfracombe has a variety of hotels, retaurants and other attractions, including a theatre which offers the latest and most popular shows, some countryside walks. In June they have a festive week. National Express coaches go there too.
