This is my second review for the Royal court after we attended to see "Once a catholic". This experience was completely different from my last attendance, we were seated in the dining area at the back near to the bar and bought the tickets with a meal included for an extra £10 per head. The food was served quickly and it was delicious, hat off to the chef. We also opted for the mid show cheese board (£5) which was fine. Now here is the rub, the seats were awful and hard, leaving us with sore backs after the show, the theatre was baking hot and uncomfortable, it wasn't helped either by a rather un engaging show which seemed to include swearing just for the sake of it. All of this was topped off by a woman two tables along throwing up on the table during the second half, this being left in situ until the end. As stated before there is parking in the St Johns car park for £2.50 and there are decent enough facilities. Given this experience I suspect we wouldn't be going again any time soon which is a shame as the first experience was so good. I know the staff cannot control the woman being ill however they could've acted to clean it up as she just got up and left. The seats need sorting out as does the temperature control.
